Under My Barbie Duvet - The Young Vic
For the past few months, Nwando has have worked with this team for the production of Under My Barbie Duvet.
This was a real labour of love by the insanely talented creative team and young women who acted in the piece. It was meant to be a community theatre production but cause of the plague, turned into a short film with stop-motion animation and everything filmed via our new lord and saviour - Zoom. Making the sound design took me into new areas - producing trap and house music, learning about diegetic sound, working with insanely compressed dialogue. Have a look, enjoy - these girls are the future!
