Join Nwando and friends at Small Seeds in Huddersfield for In The Field - for an exploration of art being made as action against climate change, taking place as part of The Current Climate and Kirklees Year of Music 2023 Music Industry programme. They will be discussing the tools artists use to emphasise the environment in their work, and how they handle information and influence when reaching out to their audience about sustainability.
Chaired by hcmf//'s Sophie Cooper, the panel for the evening includes Nwando, cultural geographer Amy Cutler and sound artist Nell Catchpole. Through the conversation, they will explore questions of responsibility: who should be leading the charge towards climate action in the music sector?
In The Field is free to all and you do not need a ticket to attend.
